ie7 - the weather graphs: need some pointers to get this working

John Dunlop

Long time user, getting back to the system after many years. Running the latest code – which provides the new ( to me) web interface which I like, except I have no information on the weather graphs. Running under a Ubuntu variant.

Where can I start to investigate?

Re: ie7 - the weather graphs: need some pointers to get this working

H Plato
I sent this to Eloy, but should have sent it to the list. We could definitely use some help updating the docs. Note that the current version of master has been updated with support for live RRD data — it will refresh every minute to show new RRD data.

I’d also be interested in ideas and help with the layout. Weather Station2, doesn’t has minimal right and left margins so it can show the most amount of data. It’s also a responsive design, so you can interact with the graphs on a phone.

There’s this page:

It’s a little weak, and could use an example.

Here’s my ia7_rrd_config.json. the DS matches the RRD data source, the group references the URL. With the below config, I can see all my internal temps (the indoor_temp) group with this link. It’s this link that you’d have to add to the collections.json to have it show up on the web interface.

My apologies -- I've been a bit slammed at work this week (and had a
busy weekend) so I haven't had a chance to thank you for your note, nor
to take a look at that wiki page.

Thanks for sending the link; I'll try to improve the page if and when I
go through it to set my weather graphs.

Cheers!

Eloy Paris.-
